The holy Rebbetzin Sarah Gelbach passed away this morning in Jerusalem and was buried in Har Hazeisim. She was 102 years old. The Rebbetzin was born in Uman in the year 1922 and was witness to all the history in Uman in those years and knew many of the legendary Breslov elders. She was the daughter of Toiba Rochel who was the daughter of Esther (the wife of Rav Getzel) who was the daughter of Rabbi Nachman Rubin who was the son of Rav Ephraim Rubin who was the son of Sarah, the daughter of Rabbeinu z”l.
