Breslov Chassidim have started to arrive in Uman for the upcoming Yom Tov of Shavuos. This is happening despite the ongoing Russian invasion of Ukraine. It is not possible to fly directly to Ukraine due to the war but the land borders are still open. Breslovers have been flying to neighboring countries such as Poland, Romania and Hungary and have been crossing the borders there and then traveling to Uman. Currently the war is mostly in Eastern Ukraine and Uman is generally safe.
Shavuos is one of the three times in the year that Breslov Chassidim would travel to Rebbe Nachman during his lifetime and it is still customary to be in Uman for Shavuos after Rebbe Nachman passed away.
