The Ohalei Shalom Guestroom Compound, located at 19 Piroska Street in Uman, went up in flames and burned down completely. The fire happened in the middle of the night at around 3 AM. Breslov Chassidim and residents of Uman saw the fire as it started and quickly called the Uman Fire Department. The whole compound is constructed of wood and the fire spread quickly. The owner who was nearby, let the Fire Department know that there were no guests at the time of the fire. The police have opened an investigation and from the first reports, it seems that the fire was caused by a gas leak.
