As tens of thousands of Breslov chassidim prepare to make the long journey to Uman for Rosh Hashanah, the Breslov Union (איחוד ברסלב) have launched a new online system aimed at easing one of the biggest challenges of the journey: crossing into Ukraine.
The free browser-based platform is designed to help travelers avoid bottlenecks by providing real-time border wait times, traffic updates, and alternate route suggestions based on information from official sources, travel agencies, and user reports.
The platform also assists travelers in planning their route from the airport to Uman, automatically recommending alternative border crossings if delays develop along the way.
Beyond navigation, the website serves as a comprehensive travel resource, featuring maps of shuls, mikvaos, kosher restaurants, hotels, grocery stores, rest stops, hospitals, pharmacies, ATMs, parking areas, and emergency services. It also includes the locations of kivrei tzaddikim and batei hakvaros throughout Eastern Europe, as well as local weather, exchange rates, and printable halachic zmanim customized for each stop on the journey.
