As Rosh Hashanah gets closer every day, we must keep praying that everything will be regular this year for Uman Rosh Hashanah. Over the last few weeks, rumors have been flying around different whatsapp and social media groups about Ukraine closing their borders early like last year but so far none of this has been proven to be fact. There has been a Yom Tefillah yesterday in New York and there will be a Worldwide Yom Tefillah (Uman, USA, Israel, England) for the Rosh Hashanah kibbutz this coming Thursday (we will post details about it next week). The facts are that people are worried and rightfully so but we ask that false rumors should be stopped. They don’t help anyone. People are confused if they should buy tickets, etc and false rumors just add to the stress.
